France’s Total opens 40,000 tn lubricant plant in Kaluga Region
VORSINO VILLAGE, Kaluga Region, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Total Vostok, a Russian subsidiary of France’s Total, has opened its first U.S. $50 million lubricant plant in the Kaluga Region with the initial production annual capacity of 40,000 tonnes, according to еру information obtained by PRIME on Monday.
The plant may raise its production capacity to 75,000 tonnes per year in the future.
Kaluga Region’s Governor Anatoly Artamonov said during the launch ceremony that the regional authorities hope that Total would construct more facilities for support of the oil and gas sector or research centers in the region in the future, and that authorities would help the company.
